mann. it's been about a year since i last made a post :| but i don't even know if anyone reads them anyway...

ahh well. i'm gonna rant anyway.

college sucks. everything sucks actually. ever since results day, things have just gone steadily down the drain. my nan passed away on the 1st of september and so naturally, i was upset about that. i started college the monday after and let me just say: it is not living up to my expectations.

i was so pysched to leave secondary school where you get babied left right and centre. i was looking forward to being somewhere new and meeting new people and only having to go to the lessons that you're actually interested in. well wasn't i wrong. yea, everyone is friendly and nice but i just dont think i can be bothered to be in education any longer...i'm just sick of having to learn, for the past 12 years of my life it's been non-stop learning and i just feel as if i need a break; everything is too much.

...oh, and not to mention the fact that there are no attractive boys whatsoever. (apart from the photography technician.......oh my god, he is actually gorgeous!) but it's not like that's ever gonna happen. i'm doomed to be boyfriendless for the rest of my life. i may become a nun.

i just hate this shitty town (not that i actually go to college in my hometown but that's beside the point,) i really want to move to america, like desperately. i'm going there in march next year and i really dont think i'll be able to bring myself to come home again.

i'm just sick of everything in this country...and the sad thing is, it's not even that bad...my life isn't that bad, some people have it a whole load worse but i just dont feel right in this place, and it's human nature to want the best for yourself, right?

People say, some people believe, that as things got too much, the Earth’s temperature rapidly increasing, a void in space and time created another layer around the Earth, therefore dispelling the fierce Sun’s rays from entering the atmosphere, returning the Earth’s temperature back to normal. Nobody knows how, or why this happened when it did. Nobody knows what seemingly unseen force created this Earth-saving layer, but the inhabitants on the planet are truly grateful of it, without it, Human life would cease to exist. There is only one person in the entire world that isn’t all that grateful…His name is Gerard Way…He is currently coming up to 520 years old…He lives alone…and has done since the fateful year that the mysterious layer was created…in 2008, 500 years ago.He is not thankful, he is not grateful, for being kept alive, like some kind of experiment, just to see how long he can last without the one thing that kept him alive all those years ago.What he doesn’t know is that this is the year…this is the year that his world will be rebuilt, but begin to fall apart…He’ll get back what they took from him…

A/N ~ Oh my, it's been ages since I posted any of this story. I just recently got back into the swing of writing this and boy, this chapter is huge, the longest that's been written for this story. It's 5,974 words, or so Word tells me.
I hope that it's understandable, and that people haven't lost faith in this story. You may have to go back and read some of the previous chapters so it all makes sense and it's been so long (apologies), but that's really your choice.
This is rather long winded and is much like a flashback, but it isn't, Gerard is just thinking about it all.
